The start of a new school year brings back fond memories of new school supplies and backpacks. But, for some families, the cost of purchasing these supplies is a financial burden. Community Bank stepped up to the challenge to make sure the kids at Masada Homes had new supplies to start the school year off right.
With only a few weeks before school started, employees from the Bank’s Irvine, Redlands, Commerce, Huntington Beach, Anaheim, Santa Fe Springs, Burbank and South Bay locations started a supply drive. Thanks to the generosity of employees and clients, Community Bank was able to donate six large boxes to the kids at Masada.
Masada Homes provides youth and families with vocational, mental health and substance abuse services so that they may become healthy, independent and productive members of their communities. The organization provides services in Community Mental Health Services, School Based Services, Substance Abuse and Therapeutic Behavioral Services.
