Fridays at Community Bank mean more than the start of a weekend. Making a $2 donation enables employees to wear jeans to work, which in 2017 resulted in employees raising $11,065.
“The purpose of Jeans Day is to promote a casual and fun Friday, while raising money that helps our local nonprofits,” said Jenny Ketchepaw, Vice President and Training Manager at Community Bank. “Each of the 17 Community Bank locations have the opportunity to participate and are empowered to specifically choose the charity their donation will benefit. This allows those funds to stay local and for our branches to be involved in the process,” said Jenny.
