The 2018 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony in PyeongChang, South Korea, is Friday, February 9th. In celebration of the Opening Ceremony, we asked Community Bank employees which sport they were most excited to watch:
“There’s nothing more exciting than watching a figure skater land a triple axel, followed by a Lutz and toe loop with quadruple rotation.” – Mike Meda (Customer Service Officer)
“Curl-ing and ice hockey!” – John Curl (SVP, Treasurer)
“I love watching snowboarding, only since it is on my bucket list to learn to snowboard. Also the ski jump, if for nothing else than the bravery of the individuals to flip in the air!”- Susan Chioles (FVP, Loan Support Group Assistant Manager)
“Snowboarding!” – Cynthia Santana (AVP, Central Operations Supervisor)
“My favorite is the Bobsleds. It is a team effort and I love the initial rush when they jump into the bobsled at the start of each race.” – Evelyn Salinas (VP, Customer Service Manager)
Another fan of curling is Mark Wilson (VP, Financial Planning Director). Below he is “giving it a spin” at the Pasadena Ice Skating Center.
